I have been doing my research on BBCSO and what I've seen (and heard) so far is that BBCSO has a much more classical sound. While I've never used it, I do own the Komplete 12 Collector's Edition package and the Symphony Series from Native Instruments sounds too 'wet' for me. If you're only upgrading for the Symphony Series, I'd suggest checking out BBC Symphony Orchestra by Spitfire Audio.
